Announcement of vacancies for the positions of secretary and financial adviser
The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Thursday invited online applications for the position of Secretary and Financial Advisor.

Details of the UGC job offer:
1. Secretary: 1 station
Salary scale: Level 15 Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100 in the remuneration matrix (pre-revised 67000-79000) plus allowable allowances as eligible for University Grants Commission employees on a delegation basis / of a contract.
Mode of selection and tenure: By transfer on delegation or on contract.
2. Financial Advisor: 1 post
Pay scale: Pay grade-14 Rs.144200-218200 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC (pre-revised Rs.37400-67000 + Rs. 10000GP) plus allowable allowances applicable from time to time to employees of the University Grants Commission.
Mode of selection and tenure: By transfer on delegation or on contract. The tenure/contract period is normally 5 years.
Eligibility: Officers belonging to All India Services/Central Civil Services (Group A) with 17 years of service in Group A and holding similar positions. All other things being equal, preference is given to agents belonging to the audit and accounting departments.
