State Department Awards $350 Million Financial Management Support Contract to IFAS

The department announced the Charleston Global Financial Services indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract through an award notice published on Friday.

CGFS-Charleston provides financial services to the Department of State, including domestic organizations and overseas posts.

Under the IDIQ contract, the contractor will provide certified and trained finance and information technology professionals and administrative services personnel to support the core financial accounting, disbursement and payroll functions of the department. for foreign service officers, civil service personnel, and local employees supporting the department’s overseas posts. .

The vendor will also provide related support services including financial systems analysis, design; analysis of business processes; test; implementation support; data base management; system integration and operations support; configuration management; technical and operational analysis; enterprise resource analysis and processing; help desk; Security; accounting services; budgeting; financial reports and analyses; audit tracking services; performance planning and measurement services; reconciliation; and training, depending on the scope of work.
